Hello !

In the plesk Cpanel,
for one user, i have assigned 10MB disk space and also
10MB for mailbox quota.
In his mailbox, used space is not more than10kb and also size of httpdocs is not more than 60kb.
But in the reports, it is showing more than 10mb space used. (i.e, 15mb.)
So he cant send and receive mails.
The quota is over exceeds without any reasons.
What will be the solution for this.

Thanks.
Bhushan.

Are you also counting size of logfiles, backups, mail, web, databases etc. when looking at the calculated size?

Have you told Plesk to include all the above in the: Server -> Server Preferences -> System preferences section? - this could be why his account is over the limit!

If this is the case (due to logfiles) - you might consider setting up some preferences under Client -> Domainname -> Log Manager -> Log Rotation -> Log rotation by: Size

disk space

Hello !

Its not.
Only the used disk space was showing more
rest all was fine.
But automatically used disk space is decreased and now everything is normal.
But how come this all thing happend?
What will be the exact cause?

Thanks,
Bhushan

Can you provide more details about log rotation, does it effect stats? what would a typical setting be?

Thanks!

Could be his mailbox was full at the second the diskspace statistics was calculated. Ie. he had a large mail that he aftwards retrieved - before you were looking into the problem.
