• Halloween is coming! To celebrate the occasion, we dusted off a couple of old skins, and even created a brand new one (Pixel).
To get into the festive spirit, install the Skins extension.
  • The new Python extension is now available. It allows customers to deploy and manage WSGI-based Python applications on their websites directly from Plesk.
  • The Plesk Mobile apps for iOS and Android and the Plesk Mobile Center extension have been deprecated, and are no longer available for new installations. In Plesk Obsidian 18.0.84, the Plesk Mobile Center extension will be removed from servers during the upgrade, and the Plesk Mobile apps will lose their server management features.
  • The Social Login extension has been deprecated and will be removed in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.84. After that, it will no longer be possible to log in to Plesk with a Google, Facebook, GitHub account, or with a passkey. Plesk usernames and passwords, as well as logging in with a WebPros Account, are not affected.

Disk space usage is wrong

Hey

I'm experiencing problems with one of my domains, plesk displays he uses 180mb of diskspace and the max is 150mb.

I'm sure he isn't using that amount.

I had it already one time before and then a few days later the warning was gone again like nothing happened.

Verify the accusation of the information being incorrect by logging into the system and duing a du -m from the users httpdocs and httpsdocs dirs, add that with the cgi-bin and private dirs and you should receive a rough estimated total. I've noticed problems, in the past, with Plesk including chrooted environment files that have nothing to do with an account, but nothing related to a 30mb jump from here or there. It's very possible your client was over their limit, claiming merely "it's wrong" without providing any information as to how you came to that conclusion wastes time, as we have nothing to prove otherwise.

I come to the conclusion that it's wrong because it's my own domain and every day it adds more, like today it added 5mb to the disk space usage, the fact is that I didn't even change anything on the domain yesterday or the day before.

With the du -m I received the whole list of content inside these folders and always gave me a 1 or a 2 in the front.

Try "du -h", that'll give you more specifics in "human readable" form.

Also, be aware that your plesk settings may include the logs, which can get very large very fast, databases, and e-mail in it's space determination. You may want to check these too.
