• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Resolved DNS issues after domain migration to Plesk server

Mikelug

New Pleskian
Server operating system version
Ubuntu 20.04
Plesk version and microupdate number
Plesk 18
Good morning, recently i change the name servers to one domain from one enterprise to my plesk server, but the MX record doesnt work. The problem is caused because that same record MX mail.------------.com was resolved by other ip and now my Plesk server try to connect to the old ip instead of connect to himself.
So, its any form of clean DNS cache?

Thanks.

A DNS update can take serveral hours to propagate. How long has it been since the new nameserver entries became active?

Good morning, sorry for the delay, the problem was generated by a firewall rule too restrictive, thanks for the answer.
