I also received a new request. the potential client would like to keep their email service provider who is also the admin of their domain and using their name server too.
And they prefer to use our hosting svc, so that we can maintain the content for them more effectively.
I hv setup a new client with new domain. Under DNS setup
111.222.333.444/24 PTR myxxxxclient.com.au
myclient.com.au A 111.222.333.444
www . myxxxxclient. com. au CNAME myxxxxclient.com.au
At the moment, their email svc provider just informed them that they can setup DNS pointer to our server.
But if they just setup frame forwarding instead, will it affect the form setup and other applications, e.g. Mambo?
Wondering if anyone has experience with this and share with us? How will they usually set their DNS record up to hosting company?
