• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Question Do not send autoreply msg when email being forwarded or coming from mailing list

New Pleskian
Hi peeps,

we've been struggling with the following issue for some days now: Is it possible to omit sending an autoreplay message if the email is being forwarded or coming from a mailing list?

So let's say [email protected] does have an active autoresponder set up for the account. When sending to [email protected] directly it should be sending an autoresponder message which it does.

When sending an email to [email protected] which forwards emails to [email protected], it should not be sending the autoresponder message to the sender.

We've been trying several options including mailing lists or autoresponse (which is discontinued) but it's always sending the autoresponder message.

Is there any way to get around this using Plesk (or customisations to the Postfix configs)? Thanks!
