Hi.
I'm trying to deploy a Spring Boot application that works on my existing server using Plesk.
I'll briefly describe what I've done so far:
- Create a standalone .jar file
- Create Dockerfile:
- tested the image locally -> worked.
- tested the image with DockerDesktop -> worked.
- save docker image:
- upload the image to my server using the plesk ui (existing installation of plesk with newly installed docker extension)
Something, what i observed here, the name is always something like 'sha256:13e98', no matter what my file is called.
- click the 'Run(local)'
- click the 'ok'
And then i got this error:
I'm very new to Docker containers, and maybe I made a mistake somewhere, so that's how I describe it. Can someone tell me if I'm doing something wrong? I also try it with the CMD instead of ENTERPOINT and also on top. Everything leads to the same message and the message only leads to the information that CMD is missing.
But I have a feeling that it might not be because of that.
Greetings.

I'll briefly describe what I've done so far:
- Create a standalone .jar file
- Create Dockerfile:
- build the image: docker build -t data .FROM amazoncorretto:17-alpine-jdk
COPY jars/data.jar app.jar
EXPOSE 8080
ENTRYPOINT ["java","-jar","/app.jar"]
- tested the image locally -> worked.
- tested the image with DockerDesktop -> worked.
- save docker image:
docker save --output data.tar data
- upload the image to my server using the plesk ui (existing installation of plesk with newly installed docker extension)
Something, what i observed here, the name is always something like 'sha256:13e98', no matter what my file is called.
- click the 'Run(local)'

And then i got this error:
Error: {"message":"No command specified"}
