Does MSDE usage require power pack ?

Dear all

i have a simple question

i bought a win2k3 server from my host with plesk (30 domains)

i wanted it to use my ASP.NET applications with MSDE database.

but i found that i cannot use MSDE inside the plesk control panel ..!!

so is MSDE working only for those who buy power pack ?

or should it work without it ?

MSDE is installed with plesk.

In order to use MSDE INSIDE the plesk control panel, you have to have power pack.

But, if you still want to use MSDE without getting power pack, do a search for the 'sa' password reset tutorial.

You will not get MSDE functionality in plesk, but you at least get it outside the control panel.
