Domain alis and PTR record - cant send to Yahoo etc

A problem has recently ocurred where clients on our server cannot send email to Yahoo for example as their PTR record is deemed incorrect.

The basic scenario for our company is as follows -

1. clients signs up for an account and is given a subdomain (e.g. clientname.ourcompany.com).
2. If client has purchased domain name or is transferring/updating DNS for an existing domain name etc then this domain is added as a domain alias in Plesk.

In a recent test it was apparent when sending mail from the account that [email protected] could send mail to Yahoo. [email protected] could NOT. We can only assume that this is because clientname.com does not have a PTR record created, and when we manually added a PTR for clientname.com in MS DNS Yahoo would accept our mail.

Is there any way to set up a PTR automatically for a domain alias? Failing that, is there any way to do what we are doing with subdomains etc WITHOUT needing a domain alias?
