• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Domain Creation Notification Email - HTML vs Text

I don't know if I'm missing something or Plesk is designed this way. I'm testing a new plesk install and I'm attempting to modify the domain creation email template that gets sent to the client.

This is hosted on a W3k server with the Plesk config stored in SQL Server 2005. The php.ini file is configured to send mail using a locally installed SmarterMail Server.

When I create the domain, it kicks off the e-mail notification without any problems. I tried embedding an image tag with our company logo, etc. I've sent it to both a SmarterMail email account and an Microsoft Outlook email account.

Both messages arrive with the mime content-type set as text/plain in the message header. However, SmarterMail displays the html tag and message as html although Plesk is sending the content-type as plain text. Outlook properly reads the header and displays the message as plain text. Which is proper but bad for me since I'm trying to send html email.

***Here's the problem. I want to send all the customer notifications as html mail to include my company logo, urls, etc. Can Plesk for Windows be forced to send email notifications as html mail? Is this a bug or something I have setup incorrectly? Is there a config file I can change? If not, is this a planned change in future releases?

i've same kind of server but i dont find any html preference to set as to send email with my logo and some custom images or pdf attachement as welcome.

can anyone reply if this is possible ?
