  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Domain event notification frequency

ghazlewood

Basic Pleskian
I have a couple of servers running Plesk 8.6 which have always sent their 'Domain event notification: The period of validity is about to expire.' emails once a month. On Plesk 9.0 this seems to happen daily. Is this intended or a bug?

9.2.3 - Daily alerts

I too am getting daily alerts on the Domain Event Notification since upgrading from 8.6 to 9.x.

Any idea how I can get it to just fire off the notification when it needs to and not daily. It used to just trip only once the 60 day mark of a domain. Now I get a daily alert listing all domains that are under 60 days. It gets to the point where I just ignore them and that isn't good.

Thanks,

LVSoftware
