• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Domain Forwarding / FTP

I set up a domain account and FTP access - now the domain needs to be forwarded to another - I don't see how I can do this without cancelling the hosting and doing a standard or frame forward - but the person still wants FTP access.

How can I resolve this and have FTP access and the site forwarding to the new domain?

If forwarding is to another server then you cannot give ftp access.
If forwarding is to this server then you can use linkd.

Thanks Pavluah,
Can you point me in the right direction to 'linkd' - or do you mean link as in alias?

I wondered whether or not I can give IP access to the server and put a folder in called "XYZ" for them to upload stuff to - but probably pointless.
