Domain owner desktop customization

Hi, I'm trying to add my custom news block instead of plesk news for domain owners' desktop, but the only option I see is custom buttons, it is not enough and I couldn't find any information about that in knowledge base or forums.
any help would be appreciated.

hi,

it is not possible to replace Plesk news or place you own news.
However you may find adding custom hyperlink buton useful:

I have actually submitted this as a feature request a little bit ago.

I am glad! It makes no sense to see that plesk news when you're in a customer position of a web hosting company or ISP. Programmers can't think of everything!

Does anyone know how to change the plesk headerline? It reads our the plesk serial # and plesk 8.2.1

Thanks for your reply. I knew about the buttons, and there is this solution to hide the news, but still, custom div would be better. Now we have to wait.

I have put in a feature request for the custom news and was told it would be in plesk 8.4 along with ability to add custom mime types, directory indexing, and possibly editing vhost.conf files (by admin).
