  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Domainkeys & spf

Domainkeys(kind of "solved") & spf (still not solved)

Recently i've been configuring my web/mail server and I am having some troubles with the spam fighting features.

Following plesk's documentation, I set up domain keys, but my messages aren't signed when sent (Select all the domains, modify, check the domainkeys signing option and its suposed to start signing, or at least the documentation says so). After this, the messages are still not signed.

The spf record won't be set up for my domain, I added it to the dns template and also to the domain (using a direct link, as I don't seem to find the dns editing option inside the domains: https://mydomain.com:8443/plesk/client@X/domain@X/dns/). I've checked with dnsstuff.com for the spf record for two days and it won't be updated.

I would greatly appreciate any help.

P.S. I'm using an opensuse server, with plesk 9 (1and1) installed after it was upgraded. Using qmail.

domainkey does not work, maybe it will work in a comming plesk version ...

thanks for the info! Maybe i'll have to find a way to do it manually. Does anyone know when the next version will be out?

Hi,
Any luck with domainKeys already ?

I'm having the same problem.

Managed to get SPF working :
Select domain -> click on website (select DNS settings) .
Add a TXT record leave 1st field blank
Add the SPF string on the 2nd field (goto http://old.openspf.org/wizard.html to create SPF record)

Using Parallels Plesk Panel 9.0.1 under CentOS

Thanks
