domains on separate hard drive?

Hi guys,
I was wondering if it is possible to have domains created on a second hard drive on a server. I'm planning on adding a second drive to a hosted server I have, and I'm not sure how to set it up so the new domains are created on the new drive. can anyone advice?

nevermind, i figured it out. making a sim link to the new hard drive works.
