Email Alias is not Forwarding (8.2.1)

I have a email address ([email protected]) which is set to foward to [email protected].

Email to [email protected] forwards fine.

in plesk, [email protected] also has an alias: [email protected]

Email to [email protected] ends up being locally delivered to the [email protected] inbox (/var/qmail/mailnames/domain.com/bob/Maildir/new)

I've worked around the problem by creating a separate email account for [email protected] and setup forwarding for it. But I would prefer one account that is able to forward its domain.

If [email protected] forwards fine, then the main question is ?
sorry it is not yet clear where did you set [email protected] to forward to, and
and what is meant by 'one account that is able to forward its domain'?
