  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Encrypted Connection to POP3/SMTP

Hi,

I’m having difficulties setting up an SSL certificate for the POP3/SMTP server, the SSL certificate has been setup and works fine for the web (https), however if I select encrypted connection in mail client for POP3 and SMTP I get this error.

Is there something else i need to do to make this work?

This is the error I get in my mail client:

"The server you are connected to is using a security certificate that could not be verified.
A certificate chain processed, but terminated in a root certificate which is not trusted by the trust provider.
Do you want to continue using this server?
