Hi Martin Off,

as you may have noticed, the error is caused by a strict setting of your "open files limits".
Plesk provides a huge Knowledge - Base, where you can find solutions and suggestions for quite a lot of possible issues, for example the KB - articles:

Cannot login to Plesk: SQLSTATE[HY000]: General error: 23 Out of resources ( KB - article 124356 )

Plesk or website are not working: Unable to connect to database MySQL server has gone away ( KB - article 128643 )

Pls. consider to read the mentioned KB - articles ( you may have to adapt the solutions and suggestions, in order to fit your unique MySQL - server - usage and your operating system ) and try out the solutions/suggestions to solve the issue with "open files limits".

Another way to find solutions and suggestions for issues with "open files limits" is to use the forum SEARCH, as for example with a search like: => https://talk.plesk.com/search/search?&keywords="open+files+limit"+"mysql"

If you already tried above solutions and suggestions and your issue(s) still exists, pls. consider to provide informations, WHAT you did, to solve the issue(s), so that people willing to help you have the chance to start investigations together with you. :)
