error creating FTP account.

When i choose physical hosting for a domain and i fill in all the requierd fields i get this error:

Code: 
Error: Unable to update hosting preferences: system user update is failed: Unable to create system user: usermng: Unable to add user: ahz_ftp

Anyone a idea how i ca fix this?
The server is running Debian 4.
