Issue Error Installing WordPress - libmyodbc5.so not found

Stan Ferguson-Smith

New Pleskian
Hi there,

I am having an issue running the automated Application Installer for WordPress on my Plesk Onyx server, this is a VPS Server that is running:

OS: CentOS 6.8 (Final)‬
Plesk: Version 17.0.17 Update #12, last updated on Jan 21, 2017 04:03 AM
MySQL: 5.6.35 - MySQL Community Server (GPL)

When I try to use the automated application installer to install WordPress I am getting the following error message:

Error: The following error has occurred during the download of application:
ODBC error #01000: [unixODBC][Driver Manager]Can't open lib '/usr/lib64/libmyodbc5.so' : file not found

I have tried to follow the instructions from https://kb.plesk.com/en/120426 but when I try to search for the files the only one found is:
[root@plesk /]# find / \( -name libmysqlserver.so.2 -o -name libmyodbc.so \) -print 2>/dev/null
/usr/lib64/sw/libmysqlserver.so.2

There is no sign of "libmyodbc5.so" I have ran the yum provides command to look for it and it just points to the same location in the error message. But there is no sign of the file.

I am completely stuck here as my skillset is Windows based :/
