Issue `CXXABI_1.3.15' not found after automatic update to 18.0.72 Update 3

Just found out that my system can not invoke the sw-engine command any more. The error message is as follows:

This seems to have happened directly after the auto update on September 16th, as since then there were no backups made. I just realised it now, because the Certificate was not being auto-renewed and now my website has no secure https support.

To mitigate this I tried to deinstall sw-engine and install different versions (idea from this Plesk support Article) but it resulted in the same error message. Maybe I just didn't find the right version?


Are there any solutions regarding this error?

Hello, @amayen . There might be duplicate packages left after the upgrade. Could you please run the following command to check:

yum check

Hi, @amayen . Thank you for the update. My guess is that the update process was not properly finished, which resulted in the reported errors. What you can try is cleaning the duplicate packages and re-attempting the update:

• https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/...ring-Plesk-daily-update-or-after-Plesk-update

However, that should be attempted with caution as it might break Plesk. So, if you have the option I would recommend opening a ticket with Plesk support for further assistance.
