• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Resolved Error: IP address cannot be removed

JesseF

New Pleskian
I got this error today after removing an ip alias from my NIC. Error: IP address x.x.x.x cannot be removed because it is used by DNS zone of one or more domains.

I only have 3 domains on this box and the IP is not listed in any of their' DNS configs. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas. If I choose "repair" it re-aliases the IP to the NIC. I want to completely remove it from this box.

Thanks in advance,

Jesse :)

Igor,

Thanks so much. I fixed it. Ran Diagnose and Repair for the Plesk Database and it didnt solve the problem. I just removed the domain that last had that IP and Voila! I'm sure it was a database inconsistency.

Thanks for everything you do on the Forum Igor. I really appreciate you.
