error No pop3 mail

I have an clean installed Centos 5.2 server, with Plesk 8.6.5.

But my problem is that pop mail can't be read, the file poppasswd file stays empty.
also after doing:

/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/mchk -v
/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/mail_auth_dump

Also the trick with shortpass is not working.

Imap is no problem, webmail works like a charme.

Please Help me.

since plesk 8.4 mail passwords are not stored in poppasswd file. i do recomend you to delete it.

mail_auth_dump copies mail passwords to berkley db file, which is used by qmail/courier to authenticate users.
you can check its content with mail_auth_view

Ok. when i delete it and run:
/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/mchk -v
/usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/mail_auth_dump

It creates this file back again ?

And still no mail can be read bij pop3 mail.
