Resolved ErrorCommand failed: npm install [email protected] /bin/sh: 1: npm: not found

As the title says, I get this when using nodebb:
ErrorCommand failed: npm install [email protected] /bin/sh: 1: npm: not found

How can I fix it to find npm. I tried to put /opt/plesk/node/6/bin/ inside ~/.profile but it didnt help?

i think im not going to use the forum software, as id have to restart the nodebb program by myself in the commandline.
