Eth2 not showing up

running 9.2.3 on Ubuntu 8.04 with to Ethernet controllers and the second controller is not showing up in the "add IP address" section any ideas?
 
Do you really have this network interface up and running with assigned IP if you check it with 'ifconfig' command on server?
