Even so mailbox is disable mail is accepted but not delivered and not bounced

Hi,

I have Plesk 11.5.30 Update #47, Centos OS 6.5 x64, MTA Qmail 1.03

Today I encountered a estrange thing, a disabled mailbox was accepting mail but not bouncing it.

In the panel the "[email protected]" mailbox is disabled, if a email is sent to that address Qmail accepts it:

No mail is bounced, nothing, the message is not in the mailbox.

Tested in several accounts the result is the same, even in a new created account.

has anyone had a similar issue ?

Have you try to repair the mail server configuration on your server with the mchk utility ?

Thank you for the reply.

Yes done that but unfortunately the issue continues.

After the mchk, I disabled again, tested, mail accepted, not in inbox and not bounced.

I deleted the account, ok, mail bounced (as expected).

Created a new account with mailbox disabled, mail accepted, not inbox and not bounced.

I recall in plesk that if i disabled the mailbox e did got a warning saying that if no mail forward was configured the email would not be delivery, now that warning dos not exist (is that normal) ?
