• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

exclude an IP address from RBL check

You can edit the /etc/xinetd.d/smtp_psa file and add -a <ip> to exclude the IPs which you dont want to be blocked by the RBL lists:
e.g:
server_args = -Rt0 /usr/sbin/rblsmtpd -a 59.93.244.0 -r relays.ordb.org ..

Hi,

Are you sure that will work?

Here is an excerpt from the rblsmtpd documentation:
http://cr.yp.to/ucspi-tcp/rblsmtpd.html
* -r base: Use base as an RBL source. An IP address a.b.c.d is listed by that source if d.c.b.a.base has a TXT record. rblsmtpd uses the contents of the TXT record as an error message for the client.
* -a base: Use base as an anti-RBL source. An IP address a.b.c.d is anti-listed by that source if d.c.b.a.base has an A record. In this case rblsmtpd does not block mail.

Apparently both the -r and -a options require a DNS server, not the sender IP address.

Thanks.

Hi,

Probably my earlier mentioned option will not work as expected as per your suggestion.
To setup an anti RBL list, we need to install rbldns
from the dnsjbl package. I have not yet implemented this but will post an update on it soon.

Thanks,

Worked for me. My ip at work (day job) was blocking me from sending emails from work. After reading the above suggestion, I added the " -a " option and viola! Emails send without a problem.

Thanks
