Exclude own server for statistics / limits

Floezen

Basic Pleskian
What can I do to exclude the server itself form statistics / limits?

I always get a message, that the limit has been exceeded on a domain. But I think, that major traffic results from the server itself.
For a full text search, the websites are crawled by a perl script running on the server. I assume, that this e.g. makes a whole lot of traffic, thus I would like to exclude the servers hostname / IP from those statistics / limits.

From what I understand (and have to assume becuase you dont really specify) is that mod_bw does not allow you to do a lot, or if it does the documentation is really horrible.

if I were you I would attempt to find the documentation for that stuff and see if that helps. Most people on these forums do not use the mod_bw package that comes with PSA becuase its been known to cause problems in apache every so often.
