• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Exclusive IP address is required to set up and use anonymous FTP

I have a reseller account setup, and he has both unlimited access to add ftp users on his account as well as on the related domain. Whenever he goes in there and clicks on FTP access a red error box appears reading "Exclusive IP address is required to set up and use anonymous FTP" even though he doesn't even want to setup anonymous FTP, just add a user.

When I log in with my admin account and open his control panel and click on FTP access, I get a difference experience. I get a screen where I can add users. On this screen there is a second tab where I get the error if I click on that tab, but why is he unable to add ftp users?

for anonymous FTP exclusive ip is required. you can't setup anonymous ftp without it. but our can create additional users for subscription.

I'm having the exact same issue. This error occurs as soon as they click on the "FTP Access" link from the "Websites & Domains" tab, and only from the reseller account.

I've figured out a workaround for all the bugs, security inadequacies, and the generally placid Parallels support.
cPanel! It's everything Plesk is not.
Good bye.
