• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

External Mail Server

Hi,

Due to the fact that we're soon going to host several major clients with a lot of email traffic, we'll need to set up a different server to work with our Plesk Panel. I know that it's possible to change the MX records to the new server, but how do I make it work with Plesk? (e.g. if a user creates a mail on his domain, the mail address should be created on the ext. server)

A helping hand will be very much appreciated! :)

P.S. We still haven't decided on what mail server to use on the second machine, but it would probably have to be mailenable or merak so that it would work with the panel.
