Issue Fail2Ban on plesk-panel gets local ip instead public ip

dabit_1

New Pleskian
I configured fail2ban to protect my plesk panel authentication blocking it after 5 attempts. But, I do not why, the log file says this: "[2016-06-08 12:19:46] ERR [panel] [Action Log] Failed login attempt with login 'root' from IP 127.0.0.1".

So, the 127.0.0.1 is blocked instead my public IP. My server use a different router than the mine.

Please, can anyone help me? I tried a lot of possible solutions and anything is working.

Many thanks!

Hi guys,

I have a problem and I don't find any solutions. When I try to login into Plesk panel and I fail, in the log (/var/log/plesk/panel.log) the IP registered is incorrect. Appears 127.0.0.1 instead my public IP. I need the client public IP for security reasons.

Error example: [2016-06-08 14:43:14] ERR [panel] [Action Log] Failed login attempt with login 'root' from IP 127.0.0.1

Could anyone help me?

Many thanks!
