  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Failed to configure Business Manager

I am trying to add the business manager into my PLESK panel and. I used the install script that was provided to me (/usr/local/psa/admin/bin/autoinstaller --select-release-current --install-component billing). And it said that everything had been installed successfully. However when I login there is a green header on the home panel that says "Information: Customer and Business Manager was successfully installed but it requires additional configuration. Click here to complete the installation."

When I click I get the following error:

"Error: Failed to configure Business Manager. See the log below for details and fix the problems if possible. Business Manager will restart the configuration procedure next time you log in to it."

Installation is in progress, please wait...

Repair integration with local panel:
Try to repair integration...............................
The '/usr/share/plesk-billing/integration' utility was failed with the unknown message:
Failed to find XML nodes by XPath 'get_protos/result' relative of 'head'
All details of the problem has been stored into the '/usr/share/plesk-billing/integration.crash.log' file.
Output of this command you can see in the '/var/lib/plesk-billing/tmp/integration[2012-03-15 14:09:12].log' file.
Installation has been completed with errors.

I have not seen this error in any of the other forum tickets. Please help.

Partially the same problem...

I received the warning:
Warning: The following error occurred in panel 'Local Parallels Plesk Panel server (myserver.com)': Failed to find XML nodes by XPath 'get_protos/result' relative of 'head'

...when I try to change the password in the business manager. I'm trying to change the password because it auto expired after 90days.

I will make a post with the "XML nodes by XPath..." and reply if I get anything...

**Update**
I started a thread just for the "XML nodes by XPath..." error here:

Here also problem configuring Customer and Business Manager

Same problem here.
When I click the link for configuration of the Customer and Business Manager, the page makes a short 'detour' to an empty page (at least, I cannot see anything, it is very quick) with in the address bar of browser 'https://cumail.nl:8443/plesk-billing/admin/index.php'. It returns to the opening page after log-in. Nothing in fact happens.

This is on a dedicated root server at Server4you, Germany. First we upgraded from Plesk 10.3 > 10.4 via the link in opening page. Helpdesk says to upgrade from command panel. I installed the operating system (CentOS 6.3) all over again. It made no difference.

Now Helpdesk is saying that you need an additional license for Customer and Busniess Manager. I doubt this, because a few weeks back when still using CentOS 5.x, the Customer and Business Manager was included without paying for an additional license.

Help will be appreciated!
