File Manager - Unable to read the file or the file format is not supported

Hi

Using Plesk 8 on linux and am logged in as a domain administrator.

Im using the File Manager in the Plesk interface to try to access a file in the httpdocs directory, its a pdf file and when I click it I get the message

"This file maybe a binary file. Do you want to open it"

I click ok and then get the message

"Error: Unable to show file /httpdocs/000001/Statement_16102008_113233.pdf: Unable to read the file or the file format is not supported."

I dont believe its permissions as ive chmod 777 and still get the same problem.

Any suggestions?
