• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Filemanager Causes Massive Memory Usage

Hi,

We have a problem with plesk 7.5.4 server running 1 website on dedicated server, this client has a lot of files in their httpdocs folder.

They have 11,754 files, 733 folders using 2.55GB of space.

When you click on httpdocs folder in Plesk file manager windows memory usage goes through the roof and basically uses up all available memory slowing down the server greatly.

It takes around 1 min and 30 seconds to get into file manager first time and around same time to goto next page.

It looks as if it has crashed. I would hate to have a few domains on server with lots of files in httpdocs folder, people accessing file manager could make the server crawl.

Anyone else notice this ? I doesn't effect site with small amount of files.

Thanks,
Dave
