filemng unpack-archive failed

We cannot use filemanager in PLESK to upload and unpack archives, we get the following error:

Error: Unable to upload and extract test.rar to /httpdocs/test/: filemng unpack-archive failed:

Anyone got any clues?

I got the error message same you on PLESK 8.1.1

I too am having the same issue and error message however with Plesk (windows) 8.3. My hosting company is saying they disabled the extract due the security issues. I believe the issue is from the recent upgrade from version 8.2 (since is was working upto that point.)
