Firewall - SSH - disable still works?

I"m trying to lock stuff done..

I Deny incoming from all for the SSH (secure shell) server - But i'm using PuTTY to get access to my SSH, when i disabled it, it still allowed me in?

Why so

I tried it on the FTP and it worked..

Any idea's?
