Hi,

Can someone give the steps to configure Firewall? I will do it today and I dont want the firewall to blocks me out if something is missconfigured.

Any sugestions or "musts" are welcome befere I start.

Well, just follow the instructions. If you dont know how the firewall module works i would suggest to do some basic firewall reading. After that all should be clear.

If you were not sure what you are doing and concerned about locking yourself out, (like I was when I first started learning about firewalls), then I would suggest you do not save the iptables. Instead let the iptables be "allow all" when booting the server. That way, if you make a setting that locks you out, you can always reboot the server to set the iptables back to "allow all". Once the server is up, I would manually run a script to set the iptables rules from the command prompt.
