• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

FreeBSD + Plesk 7.5.2 Sendmail

Currently running Plesk and we modified the mailer.conf in order to make sure it was using qmail. However, when users use:

/usr/sbin/sendmail (which symlinks to /usr/sbin/mailwrapper) users cannot send mail.

Many customers point scripts to /usr/sbin/sendmil and if they use /usr/lib/sendmail it works just fine. The mailer.conf setup we have is:

sendmail /usr/local/psa/qmail/bin/sendmail
send-mail /usr/local/psa/qmail/bin/sendmail
mailq /usr/local/psa/qmail/bin/qmail-qread
hoststat /usr/local/psa/qmail/bin/qmail-qstat
purgestat /usr/local/psa/qmail/bin/purgestat

I tried changing it to point directly to /usr/lib/sendmail but this does not work.
