  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

FreeBSD Service - POP3 Issue

When I check on "Services" in the PLESK interface it lists the IMAP/POP3 Server (Courier-IMAP) as being stopped.

This appears not to be the case as I can telnet into ports 110 and 143 without a problem. Is there something that I have set up wrong regarding this and is there a way to have it show as being online?

I am having the same issue overhere aswell.. I guess it's a bug in Plesk

Hello,
What version of FreeBSD?
We are running 4.10 and 4.11, and all is fine.

Cheers.

I have the same email problem, I just installed freebsd 5.3, webmail login and pop3 not connecting. Also tried upgrading to newest version of plesk. Still not working. 3/1/2005

Excellent!

The above post by trickyd worked for me.

Thank You!

Working Great now. Thanks trickyd for such a quick response.

I am still having a problem with Only some of the domains I send e-mail to do not receive my e-mail I sent. Some do and Some don't, especially AOL members. The server services still shows pop3 not starting, and at the bottom of every email it says "This message was sent using IMP, the Internet Messaging Program.
Is there something I am not configuring right.?
