FTP Backup Issue!@#

Ok that's weird, i've setup a FTP Account Settings in Backup manager, I've filled all the required fields and when I pushed OK, i've got the following error message:

Failed to write test data to the FTP account ftp://IP ADDRESS/: Connection time-out

But, I can connect using a regular FTP client like FileZila or FlashFXP...

Logs:

This is Plesk from dc
Fri Apr 25 10:25:18 2008 [pid 18814] CONNECT: Client "72.55.184.*"
Fri Apr 25 10:25:20 2008 [pid 18813] [e-backup] FAIL LOGIN: Client "72.55.184.*"

This is FileZila from my office
Fri Apr 25 10:29:58 2008 [pid 18917] CONNECT: Client "207.253.66.*"
Fri Apr 25 10:29:58 2008 [pid 18916] [e-backup] OK LOGIN: Client "207.253.66.*"

How is this possible ? Is plesk using a special way to connect throught FTP protocol ?!

I have the same problem - the support from my webserver told me, that he could connect to the ftp-backup-account, but I can't do that within plesk.

Does everyone have a fix?

After the update to version 8.4.0 of plesk, the error is still the same.

I try to make a connection via midnight-commander, but it fails, too.
