• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hi Every one!

This is my first post here. I have Pleask 8.4 on a dedicated server (unmanaged). Ever since I restarted the server I can connect to FTP but can't upload anything, I jest get "access denied (in core FTP). I can open files but after I have edited them they will not over write.

I have been using SSH for ages to get around the problem but now need to give a customer FTP access and I can't get it working.

any ideas?

Well of the 82 views no replies. I don't think I did a very good job with my initial post.

I am using CoreFTP but have tried various others. I am able to connect to the various FTP accounts and can open/download files but when I try to upload/save files after editing I get "access denied". I believe this has something to do with read/write permissions for the FTP server but I have no idea where I can change this.

Can anyone help me, I am getting desperate.

Thanks
