FTP in Filezilla. httpdocs mixed up between domains.

Dagenau

New Pleskian
I have setup a new CentOS 6.6 server with Plesk version 12.0.18 and everything works as it should apart from the fact that in Filezilla the connection for domain1.com points to the httpdocs directory for domain2.com and vice versa. In the plesk filemanager and in a web browser the domains point to the right directory.

I Googled for a solution but can't find a solution to my problem.
Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Have you checked this behaviour with other ftp clients or with simple ftp connection?

Hello Igor.

Yes i tried it with CuteFtp at work with the same result.

What happens is the following:

I have 2 sites:

Domain1 - Login: admin1
Domain2 - Login: admin2

When i login to Domain1 with login: admin1 it points to the directory of Domain1.
When i change the login for the same Domain1 but use login: admin2 it opens the directory for Domain2.

Any ideas?

Hello,

This is intentional behavior.

Don't pay too close attention to the hostname you are connecting to. It is likely these two domains share a common IP, so regardless of which domain you put into the hostname field, it will connect to the same FTP server.

The difference is in the login details. You can use domain1 hostname with domain2 login details and log into domain2 just fine. Remember the hostname for domain just resolves to x.x.x.x just like domain2 resolves to x.x.x.x.
