• Halloween is coming! To celebrate the occasion, we dusted off a couple of old skins, and even created a brand new one (Pixel).
    To get into the festive spirit, install the Skins extension.
  • The new Python extension is now available. It allows customers to deploy and manage WSGI-based Python applications on their websites directly from Plesk.
  • The Plesk Mobile apps for iOS and Android and the Plesk Mobile Center extension have been deprecated, and are no longer available for new installations. In Plesk Obsidian 18.0.84, the Plesk Mobile Center extension will be removed from servers during the upgrade, and the Plesk Mobile apps will lose their server management features.
  • The Social Login extension has been deprecated and will be removed in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.84. After that, it will no longer be possible to log in to Plesk with a Google, Facebook, GitHub account, or with a passkey. Plesk usernames and passwords, as well as logging in with a WebPros Account, are not affected.

FTP SSL Problem

I'm not entirely sure if this is a problem that is in Plesk or maybe the version of PHP that came with it but I'm having the following problem and there doesn't seem to be any solution that I can find out there.

I'm trying to connect to an SSL Server using PHP and I'm getting an error I can't find anything on the internet for. I can't tell you the server I'm trying to access but I'll give you what I can. The following is my code:

....
if ($ftp_conn = ftp_ssl_connect('########',####)) {
$ftp_log = ftp_login($ftp_conn,'******','******');
fto_close($ftp_conn);
}
....

When I run this, I get the following error:

Warning: ftp_login() [function.ftp-login]: SSLv23/TLSv1 in xxx.php on line 185

I can't seem to figure out what is causing this. The server is running PHP 4.4.4, on Apache 2.0.54. The server is running PLESK 8.0.1 on FreeBSD 6.1. If there is anyone out there that can help that would be great! Thanks!
