Hi dear Plesk Friends,

I am currently running plesk 8 on debian sarge. everything is going fine except for one thing.

When I update a user's ftp account from a domain, the acccess in the users' htaccess file(for the webstats) is not updated at the same time. So the user is still forced to use the old password for the webstats. I can manually fix it by running htpasswd2 myself but i don't really concider that an option to do this each time when a user want to change his password.

What is going on? Is this normal? Are these htaccess only created during the setup of the domain?

Any help would really be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Hi mate,

Thank you very much for your answer. At least I know now that I am not alone :)

I am sorry but this is my first experience with plesk. I never ran it on another operating system. Do other linux distributions have exactly the same problem or is this really debian sarge related?

Thank you very much for your help. This is really very much appreciated.
