On one of our pleskservers I have a manual installation of Gallery 2.3
In the past I was able to install this as an application.

Now this Gallery 2.3 is replaced by Gallery 3.x
This new Gallery 3.0 is much faster, but also more basic.

I would still like to be able to install Gallery 2.3

I've uploaded Gallery 2.3.2 using the package I downloaded from this site:

But I'm not able to find this package if I look in category web -> gallery

Is there a special reason for this?
Can I have both 2.3.2. and 3.0 installed on Plesk?

There is a simple trick:
Download an app from apsstandard.org
Open archive and edit APP-META.xml
Change <name>gallery</name>
To <name>gallery-2</name>
Upload this app to Plesk

And now you will have both packages available in catalog.
