  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Go Daddy Server

Regular Pleskian
I have a dedicated server through GoDaddy running Plesk 8.6 - I see that the CP is now up to 9.2, but Go Daddy still does not offer support for anthing above 8.6. Why is it that you bring out updates, yet your vendors don't offer support?

It sems that I pay my mothly lease on the software, but can't take advantage of upgrades - why is it that Plesk and GoDaddy can't sort this out? This is the message I got from GD support:

"At this time we are only supporting versions up to Plesk 8.6. You have the ability to upgrade to Plesk 9 but there are functionality issues with that upgrade that we aren't supporting it at this time."
