Actually Google do not index pages on the custom ports (such as 8443). So the most probable reason is that there is a link on the website to the page http://www.xxxx.com:8443/.
Also it is possible that the site owner pointed this page in the Sitemap. You can find more information about sitemaps in the following article - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sitemaps

I have double checked the sitemap, nothing is pointing to this 8443 login page
now how to do I remove it from google :..(Google Webmaster Tool is considering this https page as a different website
