Help: InnoDB support for mysql with Plesk 7.5.2 fails

Hi folks,

I have searched this forum but I could not find a solution for my problem:

I am running Plesk 7.5.2 on Suse9.1 with MySQL 4.0.18-32.9. I have MySQL 4.1 on another system and I need to migrate everything to the new system. On this new system I need to enable InnoDB table types. After modifying the my.cnf as desribed I tried to restart MySQL running mysqld which results in

mysql: ERROR: unknown variable 'innodb_data_home_dir = /var/lib/mysql'

Can anyone please help? I am not a linux pro and I do not know what to do now. MySQL is pretty useless to me without InnoDB table types.

Any help is truly appreciated

Jan
