• Please be aware: Kaspersky Anti-Virus has been deprecated
With the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.64, "Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Servers" will be automatically removed from the servers it is installed on. We recommend that you migrate to Sophos Anti-Virus for Servers.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.
  • We’re working on enhancing the Monitoring feature in Plesk, and we could really use your expertise! If you’re open to sharing your experiences with server and website monitoring or providing feedback, we’d love to have a one-hour online meeting with you.

HELP!! IP Change disaster!

Hi,

I recently bought and installed a SSL certificate on a domain on my server that was on a shared IP. I then decided to move the domain to an exclusive IP and did so. When I did (without realizing it) no one could get to the site since yesterday!!

How can I fix this without changing it back? I am sure that some DNS servers are already taking the changes, it would probably cause more problems to change it back at this point. Can I add some entries into the DNS settings for the domain to get it to answer to the old IP too? Will that cause more problems?

PLEASE help, I REALLY appreciate it!!

Well I THOUGHT that worked but it didn't. It made it where one person I had testing for me could get on but no one else can.

Any suggestions??
