Help needed adding additional IP address

I need to add an additional Ip address to my server and have seen some notes on how to do this:

This seems very straightforward, but I dont understand what this means:

"If you add manually an IP Address to the system, please be sure to make all necessary changes in the system startup configuration files for the IP address to be restored after the server is restarted."

Can anybody help me understand what I need to do?

Hello Tony00,
by my Provider I have to do additional thing:
1. Request a second IP Address for my Server over my Provider
2. At the management tool (from Provider) I have to define the new IP to a Domain
3. Add in Plesk the second IP Address and the typ of the address (shared or not)
4. Add the e-Mail address to a Domain.
after few seconds the domain is available and can be call by the IP ( I use the second IP in exclusive mode)
