It should be noted, That a TeST server should be used, you should never upgrade a LIVE Production server (Notice I said UPDATE not PATCH)

Then again, why are we seeing so MENY ISSUES upon version updates, isnt there a BETA period??

there has been a beta period but i don't think you can test all live variations in such test. but it does seem that the most problems are with versions that didn't have a beta (rhel4, debian, freebsd).
